This specialist product is for businesses that need to manage large numbers of keys on their premises, eg a car dealership that holds keys for its own stock of cars and customers cars that are on the premises for servicing and repairs.

Our iFob and range of electronic key cabinets control who may take a key, which keys a user may take and automatically record the transaction activity by date and time both on the cabinet and on the support software. This electronic key security makes users accountable for the keys, reducing management risk and improving efficiency.

Electronic key cabinets are modular systems available in a range of different sizes. The keys are attached to our iFobs, nickle plated brass bullet shaped devices 40mm long x 10mm in diameter. These self cleaning devices contain a chip which gives them a guaranteed unique electronic ID. By attaching these iFobs to your keys (using a stong security seal), we effectively electronically tag your keys and by controlling access using PIN, access card or biometrics we can audit every user of every key or bunch of keys.

There is a comprehensive software application to support the cabinets. Whilst the cabinets do not need to be on-line to the support software, the software is required to configure and maintain the cabinets. The software does not need a dedicated computer and can run as an application on any Window 98 or later computer. The software gives a graphical representation of the cabinets and allows the user to easily see what activity is happening on each cabinet. The software is used to set up the Users and the Key details and to record long term the events that have taken place. The software has a wide range of options such as Key Booking where keys can be reserved and Fault Logging allowing maintenance staff to manage reported faults perhaps with the vehicle fleet. An extensive range of reports are included with the ability to tailor their design to suit the user.
