Our Netpilot range of internet security appliances from Equiinet provide the ultimate in Unified Threat Management at the boundary of your network. The Checkmark Certified devices offer a variety of services including protection from viruses, spam, spyware and intrusion, control of outbound access to the internet from your LAN, email server and both IPSec and CIPE VPN’s.
As well as boundary protection, it is equally important to provide protection at desktop, laptop and server level.
In conjunction with F-Secure, Platinum provide a fully managed service to provide this level of protection. Once installed, the software offers protection from viruses, trojans, malware, rootkits, spam and can also assess unknown files to predict whether the file is potentially dangerous or not. All updates are automatically delivered to your computers at regular intervals to ensure your security levels are always up-to-date.
An online portal is used for managing and monitoring the security status and settings of your IT systems. Customers can also have access to this portal if required. Communication between protected devices, F-Secure servers and portal is encrypted and cannot be read by outsiders.
