Where necessary we will carry out site surveys to ensure we fully understand the requirements of the work involved, taking into account the best routing of cable runs and any cosmetic requirements, such as making sure, where possible that cables are not showing in customer facing areas such as showrooms and reception areas.
In the instance of a complete flood wire for voice and data for a new building, we will attend site meetings with architects, project managers and building contractors to ensure that each part of our work is carried out at the correct times during the various phases of the build.
If you are refurbishing a building we can lay install cabling into temporary buildings such as Portakabins to allow your business to continue to use its IT and telephony systems. We will even move all the appropriate equipment into the temporary building if required, including testing it and move it all back again once the refurbishment work has been completed.
Every single cable run that we install is fully tested and comes with a 25 year guarantee against defective materials.
Our cabling team also carry out cabling tidy ups, including comms cabinets. Most comms cabinets, unless strictly managed, can easily become untidy and even dangerous if the cabling is not managed properly.
Our tidy ups can involve a complete strip out of the cables and equipment and then a re-installation making best use of the space available. Colour coded cables are routed within the cabinet to ensure they are safe, neat and allow access to individual hardware devices without having to disturb other hardware nearby.
All this work can be carried at a time to suit you, even overnight if required to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
Once finished we can then carry regular routine maintenance to ensure the cabinet is kept in a tidy state.
